Initial Assessment

The first approach is based upon observation and current capacity and ability of every individual, assessed to enhance current strong points and develop alternative and efficient training protocols backed by effective methods and results: 

Physical Evaluation: Assess strength, endurance, flexibility, agility, and overall conditioning. Include sport-specific tests (e.g., VO2 max, anaerobic threshold).

Technical Skills Assessment: Evaluate striking, grappling, and movement proficiency.

Injury History: Review past injuries and assess current physical limitations.

Psychological Assessment: Identify mental strengths and areas for improvement.

Physicians Assessment (Optional but Recommended): This assessment is the final and safety measure that allows for the athlete to proceed with any form and design of conditioning with no restrictions.

Individualization

  • Custom Plan: Tailor training to address specific weaknesses, strengths, and sport requirements.

 

  • Adjust Periodically: Modify the plan based on progress and any emerging needs.
